Absence of RCD protection - domestic or commercial properties

Absence of SPD protection - commercial properties

Absence of AFDD protection - high risk residential properties (HMO's, care homes, student accommodation   timber framed buildings, buildings with thatched roofs, buildings with 7+ stories, residencies directly above restaurants/public houses, hotels)

THE ABOVE 3 COMMON EICR FAILS CAN SOMETIMES BE REMEDIED BY ADDING/CHANGING DEVICES IN YOUR CONSUMER UNIT DEPENDING ON THE AGE AND TYPE.  OTHER TIMES THE CONSUMER UNIT MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED ALL TOGETHER.  Click to learn more about potential remedial works

High Zs readings

Loose/damaged sockets etc with no exposed live wires/parts

Lack of socket outlets causing excessive use of extension leads 

Damaged light fittings

Equipment not suitable for use in current location
